ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Judith Lynne McConnell-Farmer, Ed.D. is Professor of Early Childhood Education, Department of Education at Washburn University, in Topeka, Kansas. She taught preschool and primary grades for ten years in Kansas and Virginia.
Gloria Ann Dye, Ph.D. is Chair of the Department of Education and Professor of Secondary Special Education at Washburn University, in Topeka, Kansas. She taught middle school for eight years in Ohio and New Mexico.
Dr. McConnell-Farmer and Dr. Dye have presented papers at the International Learning Disabilities Association of America for the past 11 years.
